Kelani Valley Wilderness

Drive south-east into the dramatic interior, climbing into the lush Kelani River valley to reach Kitulgala, a nature lover’s paradise nestled in dense tropical rainforest. Spend the afternoon on a guided rainforest walk discovering towering jungle flora, medicinal plants, and endemic fauna. Your secluded nature lodge, set deep in the forest, offers total tranquillity after nightfall.

Adventure & Nature

Begin with thrilling white-water rafting on the Kelani River through jungle-framed rapids. In the afternoon, choose between waterfall trekking or birdwatching for rare endemic species. Return to your riverside lodge for a calm evening under the rainforest canopy, surrounded by the sounds of nature and flowing river waters.

Kandy Lake & Temple Experience

Travel from the rainforest to the cultural highlands of Kandy. Upon arrival, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic to witness evening rituals in a sacred atmosphere. An optional evening cultural performance showcases Kandyan drumming, fire dancing, and classical masked dance. Settle into a heritage boutique property offering views over the famous Kandy Lake.

Kandy Exploration

Explore Peradeniya Botanical Gardens with its vast collection of tropical flora and orchids. Visit local craft workshops in the afternoon to see traditional weaving, gem cutting, and brasswork. Spend the evening at leisure by Kandy Lake, with an optional private sketching or painting experience as the city transitions into dusk

Highland Tea Estate Journey

The highland drive to Nuwara Eliya passes through silver waterfalls, verdant tea estates, and cool mountain air. Visit a working tea estate for a guided tour of the plucking, withering, rolling, and drying processes before a tasting of single-estate highland teas. Nuwara Eliya awaits with its colonial-era hotel, rose gardens and the charm of a British hill station.

Cloud Forest Trek

A pre-dawn start delivers you to the haunting cloud forests of Horton Plains National Park. Trek to the extraordinary World’s End escarpment, a sheer 870-metre drop with staggering views on clear days and Baker’s Falls, a beautiful jungle waterfall. Return to your hotel for a warm lunch and a well-earned rest.

Ella Rail & Hillside Escape

Transfer to Nanu Oya station for the scenic train journey to Ella. Watch the landscape transform from cool cloud forests to rolling tea estates to warm lowland valleys. Arrive in Ella and check into your boutique hillside retreat. As evening falls, walk to the Nine Arch Bridge bathed in the amber glow of dusk.

Wildlife & Leopard Encounter

After a morning visit to Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic sunrise views, transfer to Yala, home to the world’s highest density of wild leopards. A thrilling afternoon safari with an expert tracker and naturalist guide offers the chance to spot spotted deer, elephants, sloth bears, mugger crocodiles, and the elusive, magnificent Sri Lankan leopard.

Fishing Village & Beachfront Bliss

After an optional early morning game drive at first light, the best time for leopard sightings, depart for the tranquil south coast and the charming town of Tangalle. Check in to a boutique beachfront property overlooking a sweeping bay. Spend the late afternoon walking through a local fishing village, meeting fishermen hauling in their catch, before a relaxed sunset dinner.

Leisure, Marine Life & Conservation

The morning is yours to enjoy a quiet swim or oceanfront yoga session. Visit the local turtle conservation project, where rescued sea turtles are cared for and rehabilitated before being released back into the ocean. An optional seasonal whale-watching excursion into the deep waters off the south coast offers the chance to see blue whales, the largest creatures on Earth.

Galle Fort & Artisan Streets
